Turn quiet into regular

Slow Tuesday? Quiet Wednesday? Let's fix that.

Every venue has a night that drags. The kitchen is staffed, the taps are on, and the room is half empty. A weekly entertainment night changes the math on that night.

Here is how it works for you. You pick a night and a format. We bring the host, the sound, the screens and the energy. Your guests get a reason to show up on a Tuesday instead of staying home, and the ones who love it come back the same night, week after week. That is how a slow weeknight turns into a night people plan around.

You are not booking a one-off. You are building a habit for your regulars in Edmonton and a real lift in food and drink sales on a night you could not sell before. We have been doing exactly this for local venues for years, and reducing the stress of running it is our commitment to you. You run your bar. We run the entertainment.

The Weekly Lineup

Three ways to pack your room

Run one every week, or rotate all three across your slow nights. Every format is hosted by an emcee who has spent decades keeping a room engaged.

Guests laughing and applauding at a hosted pub entertainment event in Edmonton

Pub Trivia

The classic pub trivia night, hosted with real personality. Teams settle in, order another round, and stay through every round to defend their lead. It is one of the easiest ways to turn a quiet weeknight into a full room of regulars in Edmonton. We already run weekly trivia across Sherlock Holmes Hospitality venues.

Crowd of guests having fun during a Music Poker night at an Edmonton bar

Music Poker

Our own game, and a genuine crowd-builder. It is a mashup of name that tune, music bingo and a poker-style scoring twist, and your guests need zero music or poker knowledge to play. They mark songs off a play card as the hits roll, and the first to complete a line wins the round. We have run weekly Music Poker at O2's Millwoods for more than 8 years.

Busy Edmonton venue crowd during a weekly karaoke night

Karaoke

A hosted karaoke night that keeps the mic moving and the room warm. A good host is the difference between an empty stage and a lineup of singers, and that is what you get. Karaoke is a proven draw for pubs and lounges across Edmonton, and it pairs well as a rotating night alongside trivia or Music Poker.

How a Weekly Night Works

Simple to start, easy to keep

1. Pick your night

Tell us the weeknight you want to fill and the format that fits your room. We will help you choose based on your crowd and your goals.

2. We bring the show

Host, sound, screens and prizes. Everything needed to run the night arrives with us and gets set up before your doors get busy.

3. Your regulars show up

We promote it, you promote it, and week by week the same faces start returning. That is the crowd of regulars you are after.

4. You see the lift

A real bump in food and drink on a night that used to sit empty. You keep the room, we keep it fun.

You will always have a professional, lively host who never lets the fun stop. If something changes on your end, one call sorts it out. We keep it steady so your regulars always know the night is on.

Questions from Venue Owners

Weekly entertainment, answered

What weekly entertainment do you run for Edmonton bars and pubs?

Three regular formats that draw a crowd: pub trivia, Music Poker, and karaoke. You can run one on its own or rotate them across the week. Each one is hosted by an experienced emcee who keeps the room engaged from the first question to last call.

How does Music Poker work, and do my guests need to know music or poker?

No. Music Poker is our own game, a mashup of name that tune, music bingo and a poker-style scoring twist. Your guests mark songs off a play card as they hear them, and the first to complete a line wins that round. There are no playing cards and no poker skill required. It is built so everyone at the table has a great time, whether they follow music closely or not.

Will a weekly night actually fill a quiet weeknight?

That is the whole point. A weekly night gives regulars a reason to plan their week around your room. We have run weekly Music Poker at O2's Millwoods for more than 8 years, and weekly trivia and karaoke across Sherlock Holmes Hospitality venues. Regulars book tables, bring friends, and come back the same night every week.

Do you only serve Edmonton?

Edmonton and the surrounding area is home base, and most of our weekly nights run here. We also travel across Alberta, and we have taken events as far as Golden and Dawson Creek in BC and Saskatoon and Moose Jaw in Saskatchewan. If your venue is outside the city, ask us and we will tell you what we can do.

How far ahead should I book a weekly night?

The sooner the better, since the best nights of the week fill up. Reach out with your venue, the night you have in mind, and the format you want, and we will walk you through how it works and lock in a start date. Reducing the stress of planning is our commitment to you.
